It's that time of year when we get ready - we prepare our students, from Pre-K to College, for the start of the new school year, we prepare our final summer outings, we begin preparation for Fall weather, and so on. New seasons sometimes bring change - whether good or bad - and change can bring about new blessings that we have to look for carefully.
For those in ministry, the new season brings about hope for new beginnings in many ways and for our office, it's no different. There are some great new changes taking place with Sacramental Preparation and with our Families Formed in Christ Series. Check them out on our website for all we offer and check the parish website - www.enterthenarrowgate.org - for the events that all our ministries offer and consider participating in any of these Faith building experiences that will help you change your priorities from what society dictates to what God dictates. The results will bring many blessings for certain.
During this challenging time in the Catholic Church, it's important to remember that family is everything, the Eucharist is the source and summit of our Faith and that a few bad apples should never spoil the entire crop. So though we have priests, bishops and up who chose the wrong path and/or covered up for those who did, who hurt so many in the process, it does not discount the many who are here for us and walk the narrow path with us, trusting that their Lord will get them through it all. Life lesson - We must own up to what was done, make amends to the very best of our abilities, never make the same mistake again, speak up against evil always, work hard to bring about God's justice and above all, stand firm as we Praise the Lord of heaven for his many mercies and healing.
Our staff continues to pray always for all those we serve for Christ, we work hard to do things correctly and above all, we count on God to get us through anything and everything together! We are - Families Formed in Christ!
God bless us all!
During the summer months, our Children and Youth Ministry office is hard at work preparing for the upcoming academic year with all the ministries that function during the school year.
Summer is the time to review/renovate Children's Lectionary, Families Formed in Christ, prepare for the Advent Giving Tree, Fall Confirmation, update our website, assist Youth Ministry in their preparation for the Steubenville East Youth Conference at UMASS in Lowell, MA and so very much more.
We're also gearing up for our annual Vacation Bible School week, Mon., Aug. 6 to Fri., Aug. 10th from 9am to 12pm. Registration is open through July 15th under the Children's Ministry tab of this website. No more volunteers are needed at this time.
It's also the time when staff closes the office for vacation to take time to refresh and spend with family. Our office is closed the week of July 1 to July 8 for vacation and again July 22 to July 29.
Should you need immediate assistance during either of those weeks, please contact the main parish office at (603) 622-4615.
God bless you all and happy summer!

As we build this website over the next month, we invite anyone - all ages - to visit often and help us spread the word about the many ministries and activities we offer to grow in faith, live what we learn and come to understand that being Catholic is not something that we do - it's who we are!
May God's love and peace be with you always,
